Description

Voorhuis is built on an ancient dune surrounded by Cape coastal fynbos in a nature reserve, Bosbokduin, adjacent to Stilbaai. It has a spectacular 200-degree, unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean and the small bay of Skulpiesbaai.

Voorhuis sleeps 8 guests in 3, en-suite bedrooms with sea views. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom has 2 single beds. Linen and bath towels are provided but guests are required to bring their own beach towels.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery and also features a washing machine and dishwasher for guest's convenience.

The lounge has comfortable couches as well as a TV with DStv and Wi-Fi, and a dining area with ample seating where guests can enjoy their meals together and an indoor braai.

Voorhuis harmoniously blends in with the habitat. The interior reflects a delightful fusion of rustic and elegance with cement floors inlaid with peach pips and crystal chandeliers suspended from reed ceilings.

Stillbaai is also known as the Bay of Sleeping Beauty and is the perfect holiday destination where every kind of water-related activity can be undertaken. The small town is situated on the banks of the Goukou River estuary where it meets the Indian Ocean on the Southern Cape coast of South Africa. The town can be reached by road and lies 26 km from the turnoff of the N2 main road between Mossel Bay and Riversdale. Stilbaai can also be reached by air or sea. The town is serviced by a national airport at George, 150 km to the east and a local airstrip for small aircraft as well as a fishing harbour.
