Quiet, value for money and top notch comfort. The cottage is a comfortable, spacious three-bedroom unit fully equipped for self-catering accommodation. Hostess is professional, friendly and extremely helpful. In the living room there is a lovely fireplace to drive away the cold and the electric blankets on the beds ensure a cozy night's rest. Because there is virtually no light pollution, you will be able to experience an unsurpassed starry spectacle on cloudless nights. If you value silence and a peaceful farm environment, then Vorstershoek should definitely be on your list. Can inform you about all the attractions in the area: e.g. Joubert's Pass, the Lady Gray dam, and for us the absolute highlight, a visit to the crested vulture breeding colony, just a few kilometers from Vorstershoek farm. Be sure to set aside a few hours to observe the returning vultures in the late afternoon. We would love to stay at Vorstershoek cottage again.

Farm hospitality at its best! We really enjoyed Vorstershoek. It's neat and the owners (and dogs) are friendly. They allow you to walk the farm flat and the surroundings are beautiful. Do yourself a favor and book dinner - it's like a real life Sunday lunch and you'll lick your fingers.

Lovely farm atmosphere with beautiful garden. If you like nature and silence, Vorstershoek is what you are looking for. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped. The access road to the farm and farm turn-off is more suitable for vans and sport utility vehicles.
