A cute, cosy spot with everything you need . We loved our stay here! Our host was very responsive and gave great recommendations - both regarding where to eat and to contact BirdLifeSA for a guided trip in the area. The house had all the amenities, including a closed fireplace that kept us beautifully warm on the chilly nights and was a lovely short walk into town. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here when we visit again! Thanks!

As above. Lovely stay. The cottage is perfectly positioned with an elevated view across the smallholdings and the facing mountains. The cottage has a bedsit design - comfy for a weekend for two. Easy access to the village, restaurants, etc., and to the local mountain bike routes (of which there's a choice between long and short). An ideal spot for birders too.

The perfect place for a peaceful break. What a lovely little cottage with plenty of space too. It’s perfectly located just on the outskirts of Wakkerstroom, with a spectacular view over the valley. Spotlessly clean and so well equipped. Plenty of crockery and cutlery, dishes and pans, etc. There’s even a dishwasher. Load shedding wasn’t an issue as there is a gas stove and rechargeable light bulbs. The handy hook next to the shower for your towel is a small touch that most accommodations don’t think of. Such amazing attention to detail! The recommendations for things to do and places to eat were very helpful. We enjoyed our weekend break immensely and will definitely be back soon. Beautiful views, beautifully appointed cottage. The cottage has everything you need, including a stunning view of the mountains. A gorgeous, well-protected patio allows you to enjoy bird-watching even when the wind is howling or have a braai regardless of the weather. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need (except a stove - but we didn't miss it thanks to the braai and microwave). Ronel was responsive and friendly, and the entire experience was excellent. We will definitely return.
