The oceanfront unit's veranda and master bedroom have an uninterrupted view of the ocean and are ideal for whale watching. Guests can even watch the whales frolic from the patio or braai facilities.
The unit on the ground floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is one set of stairs leading from the parking area to this unit on the ground floor. The master bedroom with a sea view has a ceiling fan, double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom also has a double bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. The second bathroom has a shower, bath, toilet and a basin.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, full-size fridge-freezer, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, a second bar fridge, crockery and cutlery. The unit also has a washing machine and a dishwasher.
The living area has 2 comfortable couches, a Smart TV for YouTube and guests can use their own subscription details for DStv and Netflix. There is also an indoor dining area with seating for 6 guests.
WiFi is available.
Each bedroom has load-shedding lights that must remain plugged in at all times. An emergency light is also available on the fridge door and there is a light with batteries at the coffee station.
Two bicycles, playing cards, puzzles, board games and a hammock on the porch are available for guests to use.
A Weber gas grill and Weber briquette grill are available. No wood fires are allowed at the complex.
Secure parking is available behind the premises. Pets are not allowed at the complex.
The area offers a variety of attractions and activities including hiking, snorkeling, Walker Bay Nature Reserve, 4x4 trails, shark cage diving in Gansbaai, beaches in the area and various caves. There are many wine farms and breweries within 20 km of De Kelders.
