Heavenly! Just pack food and clothes. You don't have to and won't want to leave the house. Rest comfortably with so much more. It was our second visit to this luxuriously comfortable house in Port Owen. This time Helena's friendly smile greeted us. With the risk of sounding like a paid advert, there is no other way to describe our stay. The immaculate facilities cater for anything from the kitchen to the braai to the bedroom. We needed nothing extra. Not a braai tong nor a sherry glass. Hand wash at every basin, towel bathrobes and chocolates, to mention a few, make you feel welcome and at home. Evening sun downers in the air conditioned braai room, morning jogs next to the Berg River, staring at yachts gently bobbing at their moorings a few meters away, all the while uploading our hundreds of photographic attempts at capturing the tranquil scenery using the free and fast WiFi internet connection. Just when we thought it could not get any better, we found an excellent restaurant less than a 100 m walk away, with the same view, the same elegance and with fantastic food, wine and friendly staff, at affordable prices, to boot. Spoiling oneself like that felt almost sinful. The only way we could get ourselves to leave was to vow to come back again. And again.

Everything we wanted! We had a great time at Waterfront Guesthouse! Anchoring space for our boat in front of the house is a big bonus for us. We will come again!

Wonderful location. Owners really thought of everything. I highly recommend Waterfron Guesthouse! Waterfront Guesthouse is luxurious with every imaginable amenity. Good value for money for 2 people, but does get a bit expensive to bring the whole family.
