Close to nature, quiet and relaxing. We spent a weekend in 'Schoeman's Cottage'. The farm is nestled between the mountains, which was a lovely surprise as I had the Karoo as simply 'flat' in my head. There is a creek rustling through, which creates a lovely atmosphere. 'Schoeman's Cottage' is close to the main buildings, which makes it less 'solitary', but we still had complete privacy.
