Waterwood Game Farm offers off-the-grid guest accommodation, and is a family-owned establishment located on a private 4000-hectare game reserve situated in the beautiful Waterberg Biosphere, approximately 20 km from Vaalwater. The game farm offers the ideal getaway for the discerning naturalist and the wildlife enthusiast, wanting to escape the city for a while to recharge in the magnificent peace and beauty of the bushveld.
Accommodation at the eco-friendly Waterwood Game Farm offers 3 diverse and unique decorated free-standing units, which can accommodate between 4 to 8 guests. Two of the lodges each contain a well-equipped kitchen; the Waterwood Lodge boasts a private splash pool. The Tent unit is ideal for the avid nature and wildlife lover, and has a private braai area.
Each unit is completely private and located some distance from one another. In keeping with the eco-friendly policy, the farm strives to be off-the-grid as far as possible, with solar and gas installations where needed.
Guests are surrounded by an abundance of birdlife, fauna and flora and wild game. The hosts are able to arrange game drives and guided walks.
