The Gem offers self-catering accommodation on the owner's premises in Welcome Glen, a small town nestled between the mountains of the Southern Peninsula. The area is peaceful and guests can enjoy birdsong and the sound of the wind through the leaves. The holiday home is about 2 minutes' drive from the nearest beach, 10 minutes from the famous Boulder Beach and 10 minutes from Kalk Bay.
The Gem has full use of the top floor which is suitable for 5 guests and has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open plan kitchen and living area.
One of the 2 bedrooms consists of 3 single beds. The other room consists of a king-size bed that can be arranged as 2 single beds. The bathroom comprises of a toilet , bath and shower. The balcony stretches right around the house and has a private, built-in braai with blinds to keep the weather out. The apartment has a common area with a swimming pool. Guests are welcome to use this area.
The property has a swimming pool which is in the shared area on the ground floor, where the owners live.
There is also a jacuzzi for the guests. They are a family that loves to be outside and hang out, and guests are more than welcome to join them. The common area pool is not available to guests in The Boho Cave.
