This charming guest house is situated on a smallholding in the heart of the Klein Karoo on the edge of Calitzdorp, 300 m from the main road and 50 km west of Oudtshoorn.
The guest rooms overlook a lush garden on 2 levels with many trees. We are within walking distance of 3 wine cellars and the village offers a variety of restaurants and interesting galleries. Calitzdorp is a quaint little town but a very important environmental centre. Over the years the surrounding mountain passes have become the reason why mountain bikers, scenic drivers and nature lovers make this a certain stopover.
The four double en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with country style pieces. Enjoy the generous hospitality and relax in the lounge with open fireplace, TV, games, books and kitchenette. We pride ourselves in the personal service and sharing of the history and ambience of our area.
A country style breakfast can be served on request and will be charged extra. The sweet fruit of the area gives ample opportunity to cook jam, bottle apricots, press juices and make fresh fruit salads. Home baked breads are served as far as possible and there is always a little surprise.
