Wellington Country House Guesthouse is located in the heart of Cape Winelands on the edge of a vineyard overlooking the Hawekwa Mountain and Limietberg from the swimming pool deck. The guest house offers quality accommodation in a peaceful area.
Our style is "hygge", which is the Danish word for cosy and comfortable, with a touch of old-world charm.
The accommodation comprises 3 suites, all of which have free Wi-Fi Internet access. The guest house has solar power and batteries, and the air conditioning, WiFi and lights stay on during load shedding.
The Merlot Room comprises a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a spacious shower, toilet and washbasin. It also offers a private entrance.
The Chenin Duette is a 2-bedroomed unit with a king-size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. The second bedroom has an off-suite, private bathroom. Both rooms have air conditioning.
The Cap Classique Suite has a king-size bed, seating area, dressing room and en-suite bathroom. Amenities include a desk, fridge and air-conditioning.
There is a swimming pool guests can make use of but is not ideal for non-swimmers as the pool is not covered or fenced. Wellington Country House Guesthouse takes no responsibility for those making use of the pool.
Guests are afforded secure parking for vehicles on the property. The house is 1.8 km from all amenities including restaurants, shops, hiking- and mountain biking trails. The hosts will be happy to educate guests on the area and all the activities that can be done.
Picnic trips to the Ceres-Karoo and Bainskloof are available. Please discuss it. before.
Cheese-making workshops are offered by appointment and here feta, halloumi and ricotta are made.
