Beautiful surroundings, quiet farm yard, friendly reception. Werfhuisie is close to Arniston and close to the De Hoop reserve, both offering exceptional day visits.

Nice peaceful farm atmosphere. Werfhuisie was a nice break for us from the hustle and bustle at home. My daughter had a great time playing with the dogs and the owners themselves were very friendly and hospitable. All that bothered me a bit is the 2 chairs at the kitchen table are a bit unstable and uncomfortable, the table itself is also a bit wobbly. The single bed they put for us at the front has a very soft mattress. But other than that we really enjoyed the weekend. Hope we get a chance to visit again. I had such a good time, just forgot my honey there.

Quiet farm atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful host. The house is small, but the bed is wonderfully large with good linen and pillows. There are two large dogs that enjoy spending time together, an outdoor barbecue and a fireplace inside for cold evenings.

The Werfhuisie is unfinished and untidy. The owner was very hospitable, but the cottage itself is unfinished and untidy. It would be nice if there were a chair or 2 at the table on the patio. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable.

Undisturbed silence with caring people. We explored the area at the weekend and Werfhuisie is centrally located to comfortably visit all the attractions. For the cold evenings there is the wood dust to look forward to. Have a nice time.

Wonderful. So calm. Just what we needed. Location very good. Atmosphere great. If you love nature you must go here. The 2 dogs make it even more fun too.
