Good value for money. We were two colleagues on a business trip and had a pleasant stay at Wildnut Lodge and Game Farm. The staff were friendly, and we felt welcome. We had the house for ourselves with private rooms. A fully equipped kitchen is available to use. The bar is stocked, and what you take gets written up for payment before you leave. Outside is a landscaped garden on an elevated part of the farm, and game roams freely along the fence. A boma that overlooks Louis Trichardt has a wash basin, water, good lighting, space for a large crowd, two braai areas and lots of wood. Breathtaking location. Beautiful garden to relax. Comfortable rooms in the lodge although the bathroom is shared (we were the only guests so not a problem). Reception was super friendly and a delicious breakfast was served the next morning. The road to the farm is not recommended for low vehicles.

Absolutely awful. We were excited driving in as it is situated in a beautiful location. Upon arrival we were sadly disappointed. The front door is a safety concern as it has a gaping hole under the door knob which could easily be tampered with from the outside. The rooms are dark, uncomfortable and not clean. There is a communal bathroom (filthy) shared between guests which is not as advertised. When being shown around and a request was made for a room with an en-suite bathroom, staff stated that "we don't let our guests stay in those rooms as they are not very nice" yet the rooms were being advertised. We left and had to look for another safe and clean location to stay. Would not recommend it.
