Willibar Guest Farm faces the Magaliesburg Mountains in the Hartbeespoort Dam area and offers comfortable accommodation, ideal for those looking for a weekend getaway or a short holiday in tranquil country farm surroundings with lovely views. Willibar Guest Farm aims to provide warm hospitality and friendly service in a relaxed bush-veld atmosphere.
Accommodation is offered in either a farm-style cottage, a holiday flat, campsite accommodation or in backpackers rooms. The comfortable self-catering cottage comprises 3 bedrooms and can accommodate between 2 and 6 guests. The self-catering holiday flat can accommodate 2 guests. Guests in the country cottage and holiday flat have access to covered parking and braai facilities. Fully equipped with linen, towels, fridge, microwave, stove and a gas stove for load shedding if required.
The campsite comprises 12 rondavels and is ideal for large groups and team builders. The campsite can accommodate a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 60 campers on bunk-style beds. Group bookings only. Campsite guests have access to ablution facilities with showers and toilets as well as a communal kitchen, dining room, meeting hall, braai area and lapa. There are 2 playing fields, a volleyball court, and a swimming pool for guests to make use of. Guests should bring their own bedding, towels, toiletries, crockery and cutlery. Pots, pans, kitchen cooking utensils, a fridge and deepfreeze are supplied in the kitchen.
The backpackers accommodation comprises 2 inter-leading bedrooms with 4 single beds in each room. The accommodation has access to its own toilet, shower, and kitchenette. No cooking facilities are available, braai facilities only. Backpackers guests also have access to the communal swimming pool and braai area. Guests should bring their own bedding, towels and toiletries. There is a shopping mall 6km away where prepared food, Debonairs, KFC and Fishaways are available for all meals. Wimpy is 3km away.
The nearby Hartbeespoort Dam offers ample watersport, boating, cruises, and fishing. There are numerous restaurants in the area, as well as Hartebeespoort Dam Snake and Animal Park, Bushbaby and Monkey Sanctuary, the Elephant Sanctuary, Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre, archery, art galleries, nurseries, scuba diving, and helicopter flights. SPAR is 6km away.
