Windrush on Hogsback

An immensely pleasant and cozy cottage, beautiful property, beautiful property.

My husband and I and our dogs had a wonderful, peaceful & cozy stay at Windrush on Hogsback. It was very cold and we were pleasantly surprised and grateful for a warm cottage and welcoming staff. I loved all the gentle amenities that made our stay extra special; a heater in the bathroom, sherry, beer bread and extra sofa throws. It was a pleasure to cook in a well-equipped kitchen. The cottage is very well maintained and tasteful. The bed was super comfy and the cottage always felt very warm. Windrush on Hogsback is further up the mountain and away from the village and so worth it for the stillness it offers. Thank you for a lovely stay. The gentle amenities that made us feel extra special; a heater in the bathroom, sherry, beer bread that we made, sofa blankets and a very cozy bed. Thank you for a very scenic and well-maintained property/cottage. It was a pleasure to cook in such a well-equipped kitchen. Windrush on Hogsback is a little further up the mountain, away from the village but worth it for the stillness.

Perfect for a visit to Hogsback.

A very nice sized cottage set in a large and beautiful garden. It was spotlessly clean and fitted with all we needed. The bed was especially comfortable.

We were 4 adults and 2 kids in the cottage. Clean and so comfortable with warm beds, heating and a fireplace. Such a well stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. Really supplies everything one needs for a comfortable stay.

The yard felt secure and very peaceful. Beautiful location as long as you are happy to do a short drive to town and activities.

Such a lovely place! Fantastic cottage with all you need and stunning garden views, including a deck down by the pond, perfect for watching the stars at night. Lots of big trees, even had a little picnic under one. Comfy, relaxing stay, great for a couple.

'n Juweel weggesteek!

Wat 'n verligting om na die lang grond pad die absolute juweel te ontdek. Die akkommodasie is meer as wat ons verwag het. 'n Oopplan-area wat smaakvol uiteengesit is. Van die beddegoed tot die kombuisgoed is goeie kwaliteit. Die grootste verassing is die bierbroodbestanddele wat reg gesit is om gebak te word. Die instruksies het ek via WhatsApp ontvang en gevolg. Dit was 'n wenner saam met ons braaivleis! 2 aande is beslis nie genoeg nie, want die omgewing bied so baie!
