Perfect location with adorable bush babies at night. Woodlands Bush Lodge is a beautiful facility located within a private game reserve close to everything you could need in Hoedspruit. The house is located along one of the greenways, so we had lots of animal activity around. You can walk or drive through the reserve. There aren't supposed to be predators, but there was a leopard close by while we were there, which was exciting - but you are never at risk. The keystone moment, though, was the bushbabies at night. We had 3-5 come in right after sunset while we were on the braai. Apparently these are regular guests, so expect to see them if you go. Great experience, we will be back! Thank you.

A nature lover's paradise. From the moment we walked through the garden gate we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings. The layout of the lodge and garden is magnificent.
