The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering needs, and the lounge has a TV with local channels and DStv connectivity, so guests can bring their own decoder and smartcard. The garden is fenced and suitable for guests' dogs.

The Poplar Cottage has its own fenced garden and is suitable for guests with pets. It has 1 bedroom with a double bed and a shower in the en-suite bathroom. The Jacaranda Cottage has a double bed in the main room, with a fireplace at one side. A single mattress for an extra guest can be arranged by prior arrangement. On the other side of the room is a kitchenette containing a mini stove, a microwave, a fridge, a dining table and chairs. The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet. There is a spacious verandah with views of the farm dam, with a portable braai facility, a table and chairs.
