Description
Zangarna Game Lodge is a beautiful bushveld retreat in the Waterberg close to Vaalwater and Lephalale/Ellisras. It is situated in the beautiful malaria free Waterberg area, on 2000 hectares of pristine bushveld. The lodge is a three hour drive from O.R. Tambo airport.
The lodge comprise of a central main building that is surrounded by six thatch chalets that sleeps two adults and a child. The chalets are uniquely decorated with a refined and peaceful atmosphere. Each has there own private wooden decked terrace, an exterior shower, a spare bed, a mini bar, a safe and a fan.
Zangarna Game Lodge offer guided tours with expert tracker in open air land cruiser or by foot. If you would like to do a Big Five excursion where you can see Lion, Black Rhino, White Rhino, a 3 hour game drive in the Welgevonden Game reserve can be arranged. We also pride ourselves in supporting our community and their entrepreneurship so we offer local village excursions. We have trails for those who want to see authentic bushmen cave drawings and horse riding excursions are available. Guests can go on a two hour tour zip lining trip with 6 exciting lines that varies between 150m and 90m. A unique design on the landing zones brings an adventure with beautiful views.
