Description
Zwana Nathi is a beautiful double-story thatched self-catering bush cottage situated in Marloth Park, a short drive of 24 km from the Crocodile Bridge gate of the Kruger National Park. Bordering on parkland, Zwana Nathi ensures total privacy and a real bush experience, with many ‘4-legged visitors’.
Accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, a loft room, 2 bathrooms plus an outside bush shower with cold water only, with a formal open-plan lounge and dining area, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Both bedrooms on the ground floor feature double beds and are equipped with air-conditioning, while the loft boasts 2 single beds with an industrial ceiling fan and 2 freestanding fans. Both the bathrooms contain a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. All bed linen and bath towels are provided, but guests are requested to bring their own swimming towels
The house has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen fitted with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas 2-plate stove (no oven), electric frying pan, kettle, and toaster. All cutlery, crockery, and utensils are provided.
Zwana Nathi has uncapped Wi-Fi, My Family Cinema, and Netflix. Guests are welcome to use their own DStv login details on the DStv Stream app.
There are 2 chill areas with amazing views of the bush garden and parkland, as well as the most spectacular sunsets; one is linked to the loft and the other is on the ground floor flowing from the lounge. On the side of the house guests can relax on the entertainment deck next to the splash pool or enjoy the animal sounds at night around the sunken fire pit in the boma and built-in braai area.
The property is secured with an alarm system with a panic button linked to a local security company with an armed response for your peace of mind, as well as burglar bars and security gates.
Zwana Nathi is totally geared for South African load shedding with solar panels, an inverter, and a battery backup system, as well as a Jojo tank with a pump for backup water.
A variety of animals such as giraffe, zebra, warthog, kudu, duiker, and wildebeest, as well as birds, frequent the property, and the bush babies are always a treat. Guests may also see a zebra or kudu drinking from the swimming pool.
Marloth Park boasts various restaurants, bird hides, 2 supermarkets for the essentials, a home industry, a liquor store, and 2 butcheries. There is a water park and putt-putt course available to keep the kids occupied when not spending time in nature.
