Peaceful, beautiful setting and comfortable accommodation.

Three of us stayed in the flat, which was equipped with everything we needed. The garden is beautiful, and we made use of the pool and generous outside area seating.

Comfortable and private.

Neat, clean and comfortable self-contained and separate cottage on a property one block from the sea, almost perfect. Host is kind, gracious and private. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Gemaklike korttermyn verblyf.

Die verblyf is netjies met alles wat nodig is. Dit is nie groot nie, maar voldoende vir 2 persone. Dit het nie opwasgeriewe nie, maar die gasvrou het aangebied om enige skottelgoed te was. Die parkering is reg voor die deur en agter 'n staalhek. 'n Plus was dat daar voorsiening gemaak is vir beurtkrag.

Poor facilities and overpriced.

The host was not there when we arrived, and Swenky, who let us into the premises, was not aware that we were arriving or which cottage we had booked. He said Catherine had not informed him. What is referred to as a "cottage" is nothing more than a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. There was a bar fridge with a microwave on top and an electric kettle on top of that, as well as two armchairs and a small table with a TV in a small space off the bedroom. Unfortunately, there was no crockery or cutlery, so we were unable to have tea or coffee in the evening or before we left the following morning. Additionally, there was no shower mat, creating a risk of slipping on the water that spilled out from under the shower curtain. The mat at the wash basin was actually a plastic mat for the bath. The room was reasonably clean. On our departure, the cleaner let us out. We did not meet the host at any time. The room is overpriced for the area, which we visit at least once a month. We will not be recommending this accommodation to anyone.

Dear Ahmed,
my sincere apologies for not being there and not being able to tell Swenky, the interim manager of the property, about your reservation. I was traveling and was not able be there and due to the extensive travel I had mixed up the dates and thought we were the 1st of October and not the 2nd. But Swenky is well capable of running the place as he has done do for the past 2 months Regarding the mat, cutlery and the crockery that was indeed a mistake of the cleaner, she took it inside to clean and did not return it. I will mention it to her. Please if something like that happens, all you need to do is ask and of course it will be given to you. For the appliences and the room layout, I think there are enough pictures and explanation that states what is available in the cottage. I am sorry it was not what you expected. Most people are very happy with this very cosy cottage.
Perhaps when you are in town next month, please visit us again and I will show you what it normally looks like and how we normally run. Again my apologies for being absent. KInd Regards Catherine

Uitstekende plekkie en baie vriendelike diens.

Baie warm ontvangs by aankoms. Almal baie vriendelik en baie behulpsaam. Verblyf was waarlik home away from home. Alles wat nodig is on lekker te rus. Waarlik 'n juweel van 'n plekkie. Sal beslis aanbeveel.

Waarde vir geld, rustig en oor as genoeg spasie vir 'n groot groep.

Rustig, perfekte ligging. Spasie in tuin en in huis is voldoende vir kleinkinders. Lapa is baie lekker na aan huis.

It was fine.

It was fine but not happy regarding breakfast, we paid for bed and breakfast but didn't get it. And we have to clean our room yet we were there to relax.

Was a great getaway, peaceful and close to the beach.

Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Great place to getaway from the concrete jungle.

Weekend away with friends.

We had a pleasant stay. The hosts went out of their way to assist us on our late arrival. The place is clean and a walking access to the beach.

Cosy safe stay close to a quiet beach.

The absolute best!

The price was unbelievably cheap, so much effort put into the place to make us feel at home and special. Its quiet and so beautiful. The owner is a sweetheart and very helpful. One cannot even describe it. Just the best of the best and more than one would expect to experience. Really this is the place where I will book every time I go on vacation.

Outstanding!

We were welcomed by the lovely hosts of beautiful 23 Ambleside and immediately made to feel right at home. Everything was perfect inside, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Exceptional attention to detail. The garden is well kept and safe for your pets and children. Easy access to the beach. We loved our stay there and can wholeheartedly recommended it.

Awesomely superbly great.

All was well and the place is very practically situated. Close to the main road and some basic needs. The Spar is a mere 150 m. The personal touch was just too wonderful. Will definitely arrange our trips to spend a night it two at the place. Very cosy.

Baie netjies, skoon en veilig en sal dit enige tyd aanbeveel.

Die eienaar was baie vriendlik en baie behulpsaam. Plekkie was altyd skoon en baie netjies. Vir die reëndae is daar wel 'n fliekkannaal. Dit is ook baie veilig en toegang is baie goed beheer. Sal dit enige tyd aanbeveel.

The hospitality is great, the place was neat and an awesome place to relax.

The hostess went out of her way to make you feel at home, comfortable and helped if you needed anything. Over the Christmas period we were spoiled with chocolates. The cottage were very need and I can definitely recommend it to any one who wants to go and relax.
