360on62 Bokmakierie Cottage offers self-catering accommodation with 360-degree mountain views on a working farm. The farm is situated just 7 km outside the charming village of Montagu, in the Little Karoo on the R62. A 193 km drive from Cape Town brings one through the stone portals of Cogmanskloof to the Little Karoo and the charming village of Montagu. This historic village lies in a fertile valley enclosed by the Swartberg and Langeberg mountain ranges.
The cozy cottage accommodates 2 guests and consists of a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and features an en-suite bathroom equipped with a toilet, washbasin, and Victorian soaker bath.
The open-plan living area includes a kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a gas cooker. The unit has a two-seater table and chairs, perfect for meals. The lounge is furnished with comfortable couches, including a fireplace for the colder nights. The cottage does not have TVs to distract you from the sounds of birdsong or the call of jackals and foxes. Spotted eagle owls and Cape eagle owls are handsome predators and are often seen and heard at the cottages.
Outside, guests have access to a patio with a braai area with outdoor seating, ideal for sundowners, as well as a private jacuzzi. A communal braai facility at the swimming pool enables a large group to braai together in the lapa. The pool overlooks the majestic Langeberg Mountains and is a great setting for a sundowner or for simply lazing around on a hot day. Secure parking available on the premises.
