Thank you for your visit. I am really sorry to hear that you did not have the best time with us.
There are however a few things I feel is important to mention in regards to your review:
The gas braai was working until you had put the new gas bottle (the full spare we had in the apartment) on the gasbraai. It was not connected correctly. After we reconnected it there was no problem found with the braai.
In regards to the DSTV, it is DSTV streaming, of which the owners login details are used for the account, thus you do not need your own account for this. You confirmed via email that the DSTV was working and never mentioned that there was a problem with it. Had you done so we would have been able to assist you to log back in and sort the problem out.
In regards to the pool it was under renovation as your stay with us was in June, the month during which the pool is the least used. We have been giving our guests who wants to use pool access to the complex next door. Had you asked I would have been able to assist you with this.
As for the smell, there is no damp in the building or the apartment. As explained to you via email after your stay when you mentioned this, all the units in the same line from 104, 204, 304, 404 and 504 and onwards had a problem with a blockage in the pipes which the body corporate reported to us on the morning of your arrival and had to be rectified by them by breaking open the wall in the basement parking to fix this. Thus the smell was not coming from within the apartment and had nothing to do with cleaning. As also mentioned we would have moved you to another apartment had we known this was a problem to you as we were not aware of how long it would take for the building to fix this and this was out of our control. Regrettably also nothing was mentioned to us about this during your stay. In responding to all of this I really wish you had communicated these problems to us during your stay so that we could have been given the opportunity to try to make your stay more comfortable.
