Amazing! A wonderful place! Baie lekker gebly. Ons was baie goed ontvang en die woonstel was baie mooi en skoon. Dit is 'n groot mooi ruim woonstel.

It was quiet and we felt safe. The host was an absolute darling. She was so friendly and kind and we felt right at home. The view was stunning. Wow, words can't describe it. I will definitely recommend A Heavenly View. One thing is certain, my husband and I will never forget our 10th year wedding anniversary at A Heavenly View.

A heavenly view truly lives up to its name in every way. Truly a delight! The host is an exceptional individual who goes the extra mile to ensure that you lack for nothing during your stay. The room was beautifully set out with lots of thoughtful decor touches. The location truly lives up to its name - the views are heavenly and the location is very convenient to Muizenberg village. Added to this was great value for money.

Teleurgesteld. Ander plekke vir dieselfde geld is baie beter. Kamer het 'n opgradering nodig. Teëls is oud en gebreek. Geen sjampoe of seep in badkamers nie. Bedegoed was skoon. Eienaar het, nadat ek gevra het wel handseep verskaf. Ek het die afgelope jaar in 8 verskillende plekke gebly in Kaapstad met ongeveer dieselfde koste en basiese behoeftes soos sjampoe, tee en koffie in kamers word altyd verskaf, maar nie by A Heavenly View nie. Behalwe uitsig vanaf die swembad is die plek glad nie spesiaal nie. Die gaste in die kamer langs ons het gevloek en gebraak Sondagoggend en dit het bygedra tot 'n onsmaaklike ondervinding.

Dear Ben, I am sorry that you were so disappointed with your stay. I gave you an upgrade and thought that was a good thing to do. I am sorry it appeared not to be. My prices are the lowest in the area and I have never offered shampoo etc. All my other guests always bring their own soap and shampoo so this has never been an issue before. Unfortunately I cannot be held responsible for the other guests renting the other apartments. It seems very bad luck that you came upon bad behaviour of other guests. This hardly ever happens, luckily. Sadly it is out of my hands. As a guesthouse owner I always try and do everything to please the guests. I take note of all the relevant complaints and try to improve everything. Kind regards, Suzette

I wanted to leave. The bed linen was creased and either looked like it had not been ironed or not changed after previous guests. The towels were old and thin and also smelled as if they had not been washed/changed. The host was only seen briefly on arrival and once briefly when I asked for a hairdryer. The parking was on the road and I had to park the car at a 45° angle.

Dear Beverley, These words were only written after the guest decided to leave earlier as she had already finished her work. The website phoned me to ask if she could have two days' money returned to her as she had decided to leave two days earlier because she had finished with her work. Up until then, there had not been one single complaint. When I explained to the website that according to the legal conditions with them that this was not possible they absolutely agreed with me and said those were the rules. As if we would put linen on a bed that had not been freshly washed and ironed. Every part of the bedlinen is always freshly washed and ironed and it is a blatant lie to say that it had not been changed after the last guests. As it is a blatant lie to see the towels were old and thin and smelled as if they were from the other guests. I personally supervise everything and my housekeeper has been with me for 12 years and knows exactly what to do. I run self-catering apartments and all my guests have my WhatsApp number, I always tell them if you need anything please let me know. I said this to Beverley and she did contact me when she wanted to borrow my hairdryer. I do not impose on my guests knocking on their doors and disturbing them. If they need anything they know how to contact me. I am sorry to say that this review has only been written because the 2 days money wasn’t returned. One just has to read my other reviews to get a clearer picture.
