AfriCamps at Gowan Valley offers a unique boutique glamping experience set in the heart of the picturesque Midlands Meander, making this ideal for a memorable holiday with family and friends.
This camp offers guests a choice of 5 lovely tents and each tent has a capacity of 5 guests at a time. Each structured tent comprises 2 air-conditioned bedrooms and a private bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a tri-bunk bed. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan living space features a kitchenette equipped with a gas stove, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Additionally, there is a dining table and a cosy lounge with comfy seating and a fireplace. The tent opens up onto a covered patio with outdoor seating, braai facilities as well as a wood-burning hot tub.
The camp offers numerous activities for the family such as a 4 km walk through the indigenous forest where they will see the large 500-year-old Yellowwood tree. Alternatively, guests can relax on a tube and float on the river.
