Wonderful stay. We absolutely loved our stay at this Africamps. The rock pool is incredible! We were missing a braai grid and some initial issues with the light switches, but the team were there in a flash to sort us out. The tents have your basic necessities and ours even had a coffee plunger. It is a stunning location, and the stars were wonderful. We stayed here for a day trip to Aquila - it's only a 15-minute drive. The only thing I'd recommend to Africamps is to change their wood supplier: the wood was very wet and we had to go to Touwsriver the next day to get different wood. Engen stocks good, dry wood if you need it! We wished we'd booked another night; two wasn't enough. Hope to be back soon!

Lekker uitgerus en rustige atmosfeer. Die verblyfplek is goed toegerus en lekker ontspannend op die houtdek. Snags het hy die geraas van al die voertuie wat op die N1-roete reis, maar andersins baie lekker.

Gemaklik en genotlik. Ons het ons verblyf by AfriCamps at Karoo 1 terdeë geniet! Dit was presies wat ons verwag en gesoek het. Baie netjies en perfek ingerig. Ongelukkig was daar nie water in die rotspoel nie en die swembad was groen. Hierdie was wel a.g.v. elektrisiteitsprobleme en nie onderhoud aan AfriCamps of Karoo1 se kant nie. Ons kon wel die "hot tub" gebruik. Die restaurant by Karoo1 het heerlike kos. Die bergfietsroetes is baie mooi.

It is beautiful. We had a lot of spiders. My husband was bitten by one that we found in our bed. He was at the doctor today. They fixed the tap and left the papers on the counter and floor. No service during our stay for the price we had paid. Very disappointing.

So so. Die tentverblyf in no 13 met hottub was heerlik met 'n mooi uitsig na die berg. Ek was egter teleurgesteld oor die netheid van die terrein. Die krale skapies wat jy ontvang lê al jare omgeval. Papier en plastiek lê rond, stoepe is nie gevee nie, en akkers is vol onkruid. Ons het 25 minute vir ontbyt gewag en dit was koud. Personeel raas in die kombuis. Die ontvangsdame het kontant van my aanvaar en uit haar handsak kleingeld gegee. Ek het geen bewys van betaling ontvang.

Skoon lug, skoon plek, skoon natuur! Alles was mooi skoon en sal weer hierdie plek besoek. Karoo 1 is ook baie goed met hul kliëntediens. Die feit dat dit troeteldiervriendelik is, was 'n groot bonus!
