There are no cooking facilities. The open-plan en-suite bathroom (no door) is equipped with a luxurious rain shower, vanity, toilet, and basin.

Breakfast is an optional extra and can be served on the deck, weather permitting, overlooking a green valley and distant sea views.
Secure, off-street parking for 1 vehicle is provided next to the driveway, which is fairly steep as the property is on a hill. The house is situated 800 m from the nearest beach by road.
Widenham is a very quiet residential area adjacent to the village of Umkomaas. There are very few shops in Umkomaas but there are some restaurants, a KFC, and also a SuperSpar for daily necessities.
The area is world-renowned for its access to the Aliwal Shoal Reef for scuba diving, shark cage diving, and fishing. Several boat charters leave from Umkomaas. There is a beautiful golf course and well maintained bowling greens in Umkomaas, and a Park Run across the river in Ilfracombe. Nearby there are other golf courses, trail runs, beautiful beaches with some lovely snorkelling spots.
