Beautiful cottage in a lovely town with so much to offer. It was both luxurious and cosy. A lovely cottage in a beautiful town. The cottage was warm and welcoming and had everything we needed. We wish we had booked a longer stay. The town of Stanford offers so much, such lovely restaurants and shops. We plan to come back and explore more and also enjoy a relaxed evening at the accommodation in front of the fireplace.

Restful once we worked out how to keep the other 2 dogs away from the cottage. We enjoyed our stay, but when we arrived, there were 3 big dogs instead of one that they told us about. Luckily, it turned out okay, but if I was told about the other animals, we would not have booked.

Ons het lekker oorgeslaap. Ons sal weer van Aloe Cottage se dienste gebruik maak. Ons kon ongelukkig nie baie tyd daar spandeer nie. Ons het een aand daar oor geslaap om 'n troue by te woon. So ons waarlik net in en uit. Die plek was baie netjies en mooi en dit was baie snoesig gewees. Ek gee 4 sterre vir veiligheid omdat my voertuig buite op straat moes slaap, maar dit is reg voor die eenheid. Ek weet nie hoe die veiligheid oor die algemeen is in Stanford nie, maar dit het baie veilig voorgekom.

Verder bsie rustig. Die bed was baie laag en gevoel soos klonte.

Not very comfortable. The bathroom was the only enjoyable aspect. We were partially happy with our accommodation. We felt the room was too small for a double bed as you cannot access the bed from both sides. The clothes rack was very wobbly and obstructed the doorway. It was an awkward room! The door knobs need replacing as they are very difficult to open the doors; the one in the bathroom fell off every time we opened the door. The floorboards creaked and were unstable. The fridge was difficult to open as it squashes your fingers between the top of the fridge and the cupboard that it stands in. Ants in the sugar bowl were a problem as we couldn't use the sugar. The bed was saggy in the middle.

Stay was very nice and comfortable. Cottage is comfortable and cosy. Beds and linen are very good. Location is great.
