The log cabin was very isolated and quiet with a fantastic view. If you want complete quiet with limited cellphone interruptions, this is the place. It is 7 km down a gravel road and 25 km from the nearest shops. It is a place to go and completely chill out. The view is spectacular with views of all parts of Gauteng all lit up at night. On the way back to the M5, we stopped at a Jodev Farm Stall which sold all types of meat and homegrown vegetables. Would go back again.

Heerlike battery herlaai. Was 'n heerlike tyd. Rustigheid en natuurskoon was so lekker.

Rustige verblyf. Sal weer oorslaap. Rustig en naby meeste plekke waar ons moes wees.

Great place to unwind. The cabin is very homely with everything you need to self-cater and a gas geyser for guaranteed hot water. We loved the views over the Rhino and Lion Park, the peace and quiet, and the call of the jackal in the evenings. A great weekend getaway!

What a gorgeous setting! If you're looking for isolation, this is it. We had such a peaceful time and the attention to detail was such a lovely warm touch. Thank you for sharing this beautiful gem with us! If you look at the pictures you can believe that this is the scenery you are going to get. Spectacular sunrises! The lions roaring and jackals are about the only sound you hear. Love that there is no TV! Absolutely stunning!

Peaceful and relaxing. Peaceful and clean cottage. Great quality bedding, beds and pillows. Pretty and well-maintained. Not enough space in main kitchen bin. Ran out of hot water various times due to water pump not working when power is off - they need a solution for this as it impacts the overall experience. Website says that they offer hiking trails, but none are located at their venue. Very disappointing. Blinds on main windows still let in the bright light at night, impacting sleep. Insufficient lights when power is off. Owners could have checked up on guests more. No gas heaters provided although cold in winter and without electricity to run heaters.

Absolutely loved it. Will definitely go back. I would recommend a minimum stay of 2 nights. I love the tranquility and nature.
