Perfect place after a hectic day of watching school sport. Comfy, clean, quiet.

It was the perfect place after a crazy day of school sport for 2 very tired mums. It was spacious, clean and super quiet. A longer stay next time is needed.

Besliste ja vir Applebee wat aan al jou behoeftes voldoen.

Beslis waarde vir geld! Uiters netjiese, skoon eenheid. Toegerus met alles wat jy nodig het. Stil omgewing, maar tog naby skole. Verwarmers en elektriese kombers in koue winter was 'n treffer.

Home from home.

AppleBee offered everything I needed for my recent trip to the Eastern Cape - convenient location, safe parking, comfortable bed, breakfast cereals/coffee/tea on tap with self-catering facility and cosy lounge area. I would highly recommend it.

Met our needs.

Very pleasant and ticked all our boxes. We just didn't have hot water while we were there.

Dear Linda,
We wish you had let us know there was no hot water. Huge apologies that you had to have cold showers, how awful! The guest following you alerted us to the fact that there was no hot water, and we discovered that the geyser had burst. It was replaced the same day and is all sorted now. Apologies once again. This geyser is on an outside wall and not visible, so we never noticed it leaking.

Clean, comfortable stay.

I stayed in the small room. It is advertised as self-catering, but it doesn't really have a proper kitchen where you can actually cook a meal from scratch. However, there is enough equipment to make tea, toast bread, make a sandwich, or warm up a meal in the microwave. The parking is a bit tight if you drive a big 4x4, but not unmanageable.

Friendly and accommodating hosts!

Small, but comfortable and I had all I needed. My son had a stay-over, and gladly the host permitted this with an extra charge of R200-00. The towels are clean but could do with new ones.

With regards to the towels, we are in the process of acquiring new. We are doing some research.
We struggle so with the appalling quality of the water in Grahamstown, having to continually soak the towels in vinegar, etc. to get rid of the mud stains and it therefore shortens the life of the towels considerably. We are looking into getting towels in a stone colour to try avoid the excessive soaking the white towels need.

Baie netjiese plek en baie vriendelik ontvang.

Ons plekkie was baie mooi en netjies. Ons is vriendelik ontvang. Ons het net oorgeslaap, maar sal die plekkie definitief aanbeveel en definitief die geld werd.
