Atlantic Dream Beachfront Villa

Fantastic location, excellent amenities, great value.

Everything to do with our stay at this beautiful house was a pleasure, from the initial communication after we made the booking, to questions being answered promptly. Then, when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how huge and spacious the home is. The furnishings are great, it has a very beachy feel. Very nice pool and yard area, and literally less than two minutes walk to the beach. We will definitely come again.

The recommendation would be a yes, and a no. There is so much that is good and wonderful about this house. The one thing that truly was not good is the noise levels and creaking floor between the top and the bottom floor. I wish it weren't so, as I'd be back in a heartbeat were it not for this. Half of us slept in the bottom rooms and had very interrupted sleep. The creaking of the floors with any movement upstairs is so amplified that you cannot sleep through it. It's sadly not restful for those sleeping at the bottom, and stressful for those sleeping on the top floor because half of the household is not getting a good night's rest, something you certainly hope for when going on holiday. I ended up sleeping on the couch, and my husband almost went to sleep in the car. Our recommendation would be insulation between the top and bottom floors to negate this. I would like to add that the service was excellent when the gas ran out, and we were helped almost immediately. Thank you.

It is like being in a small town away from everything, we walked up the road and bought freshly baked croissants for breakfast and swam in the sea at sunset - bliss.

Rustige verblyf naby die see. Ruim huis met groot swembad.

Die huis is gerieflik en naby die swemstrand. Goed toegerus maar onderhoud kort bietjie aandag. Goeie kommunikasie vanaf die eienaar tydens ons verblyf. Dankie John.

Ek dink nie een van my vriende gaan weer saam met my op vakansie wil gaan nie.

Al lekkerte van die huis was dat dit naby die see was, maar beddens was baie ongemaklik. Ons en ons vriende het nie lekker geslaap nie en die huis lyk of dit bietjie meer maintenance nodig het. Vriende onder kon nie slaap nie agv die mense wat bo kuier en heeltyd loop want die vloer raas. Ek stel voor mense wat laat gaan slaap moet maar onder slaap en onder kuier. Gordyn in een kamer was stukkend toe ons daar aankom so die bure se ligte het heeltyd in kamer in geskyn. Die badkamer bo se water het in die onderste kamer in gelek en van die ligte in die huis het nie gewerk nie. Die krag het getrip en ons kon nie die DB bord op spoor nie, eers na lang soek in die donker het ons dit agter 'n skildery gevind. Die bure langs aan se seuns het heeltyd bal geskop in die straat en het die bal op ons karre geskop. Die een seun was later binne in ons tuin om sy bal te kry sonder dat ons weet. Het my byna lam geskrik toe ek die seun in die bos sien. Moes hulle later streng aanspreek om op te hou speel in die straat, nie een van hulle het eens omverskoning gevra nie. Ongelukkig sien Atlantic Dream ons nie weer in die toekoms nie.

Atlantic Dream Beachfront Villa was really a dream in many ways.

We want to thank the owner John of Atlantic Dream Beachfront Villa for his kindness. Nothing was ever too much to make us feel comfortable and right at home. My family and I had an absolute amazing time, the villa is beautiful, it's spacious and caters to all your holiday needs! It is clean and very well decorated. The beds were so comfortable, we slept like babies. We could hear the ocean clearly, especially at night time. It is well located and we felt safe at all times. We loved the entertainment area where we spent hours playing pool, table tennis and darts! We definitely recommend this stay to other people and we will go back in the summer time.

Perfection.

Came on a surf holiday with a group of friends and got more than we could have hoped for. Beautiful beaches all around and a house that had it all. Cant wait to come back.

Much needed, away from the hussle and bustle.

We had an amazing stay, John was very accommodating. The house is beautiful, kids enjoyed the games room, looking for tranquility that's the place to go, would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Alles verskaf was skoon, netjies, en die gemak van so naby die mooi see was net perfek.

Ons kon ook ons twee honde saamvat, met geen plek vir hulle om die erf te verlaat nie wat my gemaklik heel naweek laat voel het. Hulle nes ons het die groot spasie voluit geniet.

We used the venue for team building and workshops. Worked incredibly well. Super well equipped. Immaculate. Communication from the owner was swift and clear. We will be back!

Ons het dit vreeslik baie geniet! Dit was lekker rustig en stil.

Ons het die ruskans in hierdie heerlike huis baie geniet.

Die huis is baie goed toegerus en daar is baie dinge om te doen by die huis as die weer buite of op die strand onplesierig is. My kinders was gaande oor die tafeltennis, pooltafel en veerpyltjies. Dit was baie koud, maar al die kamers het verwarmers en die ingeboude kaggel maak die hoofleefareas baie lekker warm. Die blitsvinnige WiFi was ook 'n wenner, want ek moes tussendeur werk en die kinders kon flieks op hulle fone en tablette kyk.

John is an absolute dream to liaise with, the villa has everything you need you basically only need to take your food, clothes and fire wood to braai. It is really a must to visit and stay at.

We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely consider booking again.

The only issue I had was that 10:00 in the morning is a bit early to book out.

Familie-vakantie

Wij waren met onze familie, 8 personen, in de villa. Zeer ruim, de kamers (iedere kamer had een eigen badkamer), de lounge, het terras boven. Makkelijke stoelen en ligbedden. Ook veel ruimte beneden, nog een terras met eet-set, een tuin naast het zwembad, waar je op het gras kon liggen, met ook wat schaduw. Leuke spel-kamer met dart-spel en pool-tafel enz. Heel geschikt voor een groep/familie. Wel wat verouderd, zeker de keuken. Ligging vlakbij strand, niet echt geschikt om te zwemmen en zonnen, maar wel om even heen te lopen. Ook paar restaurantjes en winkeltje vlakbij. Rustige buurt. Wel wat ver van Kaapstad. Wij waren erg blij met Salie, de manager. Hij zorgde ervoor dat alles weer netjes was als we terugkwamen. Hij zorgde voor het zwembad, hij loste een probleempje met de douche diezelfde dag nog op. Top!

Atlantic Dream is a beautiful house, well equipped, with everything in good working order, ideally positioned and pet friendly, which was a huge bonus.

We had a wonderful winter stay at Atlantic Dream. Everything was in good working order and the house was tastefully decorated. The kids were kept busy in the games room, our dog enjoyed long walks on the beach and we explored the hiking trails in the vicinity and relaxed in the winter sun on the lovely wooden deck. It was amazing to see the stars so bright at night, possibly because there were no streetlamps. I think it is a lovely seaside village, unpretentious and down to earth. An extra bonus was the availability of daily service, which will be especially helpful with a bigger group and in summer. We would like to visit Atlantic Dream in summer time as well.
