We loved it. We had a lovely overnight stay at Avonsrus Guest House. The place was so clean, equipped with air conditioners, well-equipped in general, and beautiful surroundings. Our host was really accommodating and friendly. I recommend staying here with friends or family!

Highly recommended accommodation - rustic and modern and has everything you need. What a beautiful accommodation for our overnight stay. The house has a lot of history, rustic and modern at the same time, with everything you need. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are bigger than expected. Friendly greeting by the host and two dogs. You can also purchase (padstal goodies), wine, and food for a braai directly from the host. The communication with the host from the start is amazing. Highly recommended.

Well presented comfortable overnight accommodation. Very enjoyable overnight stay. The renovated and updated farmhouses are tastefully set up and have everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Mees gerieflike oorbly ooit! Op ons vakansietoer deur Suid Afrika was Avonsrus die lekkerste blyplek van ons hele roete. Mens kan die aandag, geskiedenis en sorg wat in die gastehuis ingesit is in elke vertrek sien. Jaco en Ria-Lize het so mooi na ons omgesien. En uit hul pad gegaan om ons te help met enige versoeke. Kan dit definitief aanbeveel en sal weer daar oornag indien weer in Augrabies omgewing kom.

Ria-Lize was an awesome host, we enjoyed staying at this gem of a guest house. The home was well-equipped and beautifully decorated. We also liked the fact that it supported other local businesses by selling some rusk and other food etc. Our highlight was swimming in the plaas dam. We also loved the boma. The home exceeded our expectations.
