Lekker. Baie gerieflik, sentraal en personeel was uiters gasvry en bedagsaam. Veilige perseel en restaurante beskikbaar op perseel. Kamers gerieflik met basiese benodighede.

Braaigeriewe ontbreek seker oor grasdakke. Baie lekker oornag. Heerlike ontbyt en vriendelike en wonderlike personeel. Vir seker kombuisware en eetgerei ontbreek.

Goeie opsie vir oornag slaapplek. Bains Lodge is goed geleë, naby die N1 en was 'n ideale oornag slaapplek van Oos-Kaap oppad na Gauteng. 'n Heerlike ontbyt was ingesluit wat die verblyf goeie waarde vir geld maak.

No communication, poor service delivery. Bains Lodge complains. Photos do not meet expectations. Executive suite is not as big as in the photos. Ant infestation, and nothing to counter the problem. TV does not work. Dirty windows, dust everywhere. Had to drive up and down for the amenities, like WiFi and pool services. Only 1 coffee per person for one day, irrespective of how many days you're booked in. Asked for a dish cloth and they brought it 3 hours later. They did not notify us of the pool services being out of service due to a wedding on Saturday. Asked the receptionist to fix the TV, no one came to fix it; it took us asking them again the next day for them to send someone out to fix the TV. The only positive thing is they transferred us to another cabin while the maintenance guy was working on the TV, but with the new move, we found out that the executive suites displayed in the pictures, which made us book at the lodge, were actually the new cabin they moved us to, and they wanted us to move back to the old one because there are new guests coming in the morning. Both were executive suites, and they do not provide you with your suite number as you are making the booking, so we insisted on staying at the new and advertised suite. The hospitality is not up to par; the cleaner never came to clean or sweep our cabins, there were no brooms or mops, and they gave us no schedule whatsoever as to when the cleaners would come and clean and retrieve our towels (note that we stayed there 3 nights and no one retrieved our dirty towels).
