Welcoming host, modern and clean space, everything we needed. Our stay at Balintore Guest Farmhouse was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Stellie made us feel incredibly welcome. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately put us at ease, and we could tell she genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. The interior of the place is modern, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The combination of the stylish decor and the cozy atmosphere with the outside braai area and inside wood burning fireplace, with lots of wood that has been supplied, made it a true home away from home. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place that combines comfort, style, and an outstanding host. Thank you, Stellie, for making our trip so memorable!

Dit was 'n besondere voorreg om jou en jou familie hier op die plaas te kon huisves, sout van die aarde mense soos julle is dun gesaai. The stay was truly relaxing and breathtaking. The stunning views are accompanied by a cosy cottage and amazing hospitality. There is no better feeling than being one with nature.

We take great pride in offering elegant accommodations and exceptional customer care, which is consistently reflected in our reviews across all booking platforms. Unfortunately, Iviwe's stay did not align with the standards we strive to maintain. Our property is clearly listed as suitable for two adults, with the option to accommodate a small child. However, six adults arrived and attempted to stay in the cottage, despite repeated requests to comply with the booking requirements. This overcrowding not only contravened our policies but also disrupted the experience of other guests. The group engaged in loud partying and played music late into the night, disregarding our requests to respect the tranquility of the farm and the comfort of neighbouring guests. Regrettably, this behaviour greatly disturbed an elderly couple in the adjacent cottage, who resorted to sleeping with pillows over their heads to reduce the noise. The following morning, we notified Iviwe of an additional fee for the extra, unregistered guests. In response, we received a dismissive reply, including a laughing sticker and a message indicating they had not slept during the night, suggesting the charge was unnecessary. Regarding the claim of no hot water, it is worth noting that the elderly couple's cottage, which shares the same gas geyser, had no such issue. Additionally, the state in which the group left the cottage was far below our expectations. Cleaning staff were required to spend extra time restoring the space, which included addressing burns on the carpet, scattered ashes, damage to the glass lid of the gas hob, and a severely soiled oven. As for the baby goat mentioned in the review, it is a hand-reared animal still being bottle-fed. While the group initially took photos with the goat, it was later described as "scary" in their feedback. We regret that Iviwe and his group did not appreciate the peaceful, natural setting our farm offers. Instead, their activities brought a level of disruption that was neither appropriate nor respectful to the environment or other guests. To those seeking a serene getaway, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this incident. We kindly request that future guests looking for a party venue refrain from booking at Balintore, as it is designed for those seeking tranquility and connection with nature. While we regret that Iviwe's experience did not meet their expectations, we hope this context offers a more balanced perspective on the situation.
