Gorgeous little cottage on lovely sheep farm. A gem of a little cottage (very comfortable and well equipped) in a gorgeous location for a very reasonable price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic experience, will return. We had a wonderful stay! Small touches were nice, communication was good, and our dog had a wonderful time with plenty of space to run around. It felt like we were transported to another country. Thanks again!

Restful, peaceful, beautiful - Bertus se Huisie is in a great location! Bertus se Huisie was a wonderful surprise. It is quite basic, with solar power and the limitations that come with that. We had a fire going for most of the time, which was great. Coffee lovers are advised to take a coffee plunger! The view, the atmosphere, the peace and quiet, the sheep and lambs - it was all beautiful!

Fantastiese huisie op 'n skaapplaas omring deur natuur en honde vriendelik. Wat 'n ongelooflike lekker kuier was dit nie! Die vuurmaakplek in die kombuis is fantasties! Kamers snoesig en badkamer skoon! Ek beveel hierdie plekkie beslis aan. Sal weer kom vir seker!

Perfect getaway from the city for a safe, peaceful rest in the country. It was my second time at Bertus se Huisie. I stayed there for a few days with my adult son and our Labradoodle in January 2022, and this time I stayed there with my adult daughter and our Labradoodle. Our stay was as peaceful, quiet, and restful as the first time. Just what was needed. Safe, off the grid, solar powered, fantastic braai area, kitchen with all the essentials, gas hob, big cold fridge, comfortable beds, lovely big shower with good water pressure. Gas geyser, so always enough hot water. Lots of fresh air, beautiful landscape. Great to see the sheep in the distant fields with farmer Bertus putting his magnificent border collie through its paces to herd them in the early evening while we were making the fire for a braai on the big covered patio space.

Excellent way to start 2024. Our stay at Bertus se Huisie was absolutely marvellous, especially given the fact that our dogs were able to join us. Will definitely be back in the future. Thank you to the website and Bertus for such a fantastic say.

Was 'n awesome ervaring en ietsie anders. As 'n mens moeg word vir die lewe in die stad. Is hierdie huisie 'n goeie idee om in te bly. Is 'n oulike plekkie. Eienaar is baie vriendelik.

Mooi. Rustig. Veilig. Stil. Amazing vir mense met diere. Al ons 2de keer daar, net soos laas was dit wonderlik. Ons het dit vreeslik geniet. Net 'n nota - as jy in die somer gaan, vat vlieëplakke, fly ribbons ens saam, daar is vreeslik baie vlieë maar is te verwag in die somer en dis plaaswêreld. Verder was alles amazing. Ons 3 hondekinders het dit baie geniet en dis baie veilig vir hulle. Hulle sal ons definitief vir 'n 3de kuier sien.
