Blue On Blue Bed and Breakfast

Most enjoyable with excellent service.

I stayed at Blue On Blue with my sister in Curries room and we were very happy with the accommodation and our stay in general. Yoliswa was an excellent hostess, and our breakfasts every morning were superb. Folk Restaurant 100 metres down the road in the Old Post Office on St James Station was very convenient for lunch or dinner.

Was heerlik.

Ons het werklik baie lekker gebly.

I felt refreshed and inspired by the environment. It felt like home away from home.

I appreciated the South African art works and the creativity of the layout. The breakfast was fantastic and the view of the sea made the stay even better!

Comfortable bed. Struggled a bit with the shower hot water as the taps were not marked. Pleasant breakfast. Friendly welcome by the host. Beautiful view of the sea.

We enjoyed our time tremendously. Very homely and quiet place. I notified in my booking that we prefer halaal food. They still asked if we wanted bacon for breakfast. The lady said she was not aware of it. Accept that we enjoyed our time.

Awesome, relaxing environment.

We were alone in the house and really enjoyed the serenity of the house. The bay window with the view of the ocean was my heaven! It would have been nice to have a coffee and tea station in the room as I had to make my coffee in the kitchen and walked upstairs with the mug of coffee. I had to be so careful not to spill on the antique wooden stairs.

Very comfy stay and great location.

Host was super welcoming. Room was super comfy and cute and the view was fabulous. Accommodation also in such great location. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful view, perfect location and lovely accommodation.

We really enjoyed our stay. One small suggestion would be to perhaps put a small kettle and coffee or tea in each room, instead of having the station in the kitchen.

Wat 'n ongelooflike gastehuis. Ons is so vriendelik verwelkom. Die kamer is baie netjies en die badkamer ook.

Die ontbyt was heerlik en baie kos. Alles is baie netjies uitgepak. Die dame wat die ontbyt gemaak was baie vriendelik en baie behulpsaam. Ons sal definitief die gastehuis hoogs aanbeveel.

Location, location, location.

We had a great stay at Blue on Blue. Great views of false bay as promised! The location is perfect. The room was clean and the bed in the Master suite is comfortable. We only had an issue checking in as we could not get hold of the host. One starts to get worried because we only got to check in after 9 and being on the road for 8 hours you just want to crash. Later on we were told that the land line was faulty. Perhaps an alternate mobile number should be supplied.

Gemaklik, skoon en netjies.

Met aankoms was daar linne in plastieksakke in die voorportaal, en steeds daar toe ons vertrek. Met baie min moeite kan dit maar net weggepak word? Yoliswa is vriendelik, maar taal is 'n probleem. Haar Engels is baie swak.

Nie ons tipe nie, het dit maar verdra.

Nie 'n plek vir bejaarde mense nie, te veel goed teen mure wat nie vir almal is nie. Beddens pateties. Toegang verskriklik. Sal nie weer daar bepreek nie.

This is one of best B&B's I've every stayed in.

The ocean views from the room (and the shower), the fresh sea breeze, the stocked library and finally the most awesome breakfast. I'll be back for sure.

Absoluut 'n aangename ervaring!

So 'n aangename atmosfeer. Meubels en kunswerke so mooi en interessant. Huishoudster heeltemal in beheer, met soveel rustigheid en vriendelikheid. Baie goed geleë.

Pleasant and comfortable stay.

Blue on Blue is a charming house with a delightful housekeeper. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Easy walk to the restaurants in Kalk Bay. My only caution would be for anyone who is not agile with steep paths (outside the property) or stairs (to the bedrooms).

Was baie lekker, goed geleë, en die staff was great.

Die ligging is wonderlik, stap-afstand van Kalkbaai en 'n paar restaurante. Die plek self is goed toegerus en ons het baie lekker gebly. Die personeel was ook baie behulpsaam het het die verblyf net lekkerder gemaak.

Ideal location above St James. Quiet with beautiful views over False Bay.

Pragtige uitsig oor die see en loopafstand van al die interessante eetplekke en winkels.

Ons het gerieflik gebly en lekker oontbyt geëet elke oggend.
