Buckhouse Elegant Village Apartment

Great flat, lovely couple and a good base to see the area.

We loved our stay and were impressed by how well equipped and stocked the flat was. We also enjoyed walking around town, seeing the historical buildings with their history on the gate posts. While we had no issues with the stairs as we are fit and didn't carry in much luggage, they would be a problem if you had a large case or were not fully fit.

Excellent value for money.

The apartment is small, but very well equipped. The linen and towels are lovely. It is better suited to a family perhaps than two couples as privacy is somewhat limited due to the layout. A translucent rather than transparent bathroom door would definitely assist with that. The host is wonderfully friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend to others.

The apartment has everything you need, clean and tidy and good value for money. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

It was comfortable and clean and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Cheryl was friendly and helpful. It was a very cold and wet night but we were warm inside. Highly recommended.

Dit was voorwaar 'n lekker oorslaap.

Die rustigheid be die swembad was heerlik na 'n warm dag. Alles was netjies en goed voorberei. Die eienaars was baie gaaf en vriendelik. Ons het almal vriende gemaak met die troeteldiere wat kom kuier het. Sal beslis weer hier bly.

Netjiese en baie skoon oornag akkomodasie, maar langer verblyf sal ook 'n plesier wees met al die geriewe wat beskikbaar is.

Die eenheid was pragtig, baie skoon en uitstekend toegerus. Dankie vir die vars melk in die yskas. Die plonspoel was 'n heerlike bonus en beslis werd om genoem te word. Ek sal beslis weer daar oorbly en vriende en familie soontoe verwys.

Gerieflik, netjies en baie goed toegerus.

Ek sal hierdie blyplek definitief aanbeveel. Ons is vriendelik ontvang en elke oomblik geniet.

Fantasties, so mooi kalm en rustig.

Dit was voorwaar 'n aangename verrassing, dit is rustig en kalm en ons gasvrou was uitmuntend, dadelik welkom gevoel.

Ons is voor die tyd geskakel net om seker te maak hoe laat ons sal arriveer, omdat Cheryl nie wou gehad het ons moet voor dooiemansdeur kom nie.

We loved staying at Buckhouse. We were there to film a wedding and it was centrally located and easy to get to the various locations. The accommodation was clean, large, and neat. We would love to come back to stay again soon! The host was amazing and super friendly.

A quiet, yet wonderful breakaway.

Upon arrival we received a housewarming welcome with a tiny tour of the apartment, clean, fresh and warm! The Wi-Fi was a bonus, as well as the full package DSTV. Will definitely go there again.

Perfect one night stop over.

Cheryl is the perfect host and was very welcoming. The apartment is very well appointed and has all the comforts one would need. For summer guests there will be a lovely pool at the terrace.

Vriendelike en behulpsame gasvrou. Pragtige en goed toegeruste eenheid. Kinders het speletjies en boeke in die eenheid geniet.

'n Netjies versorgde plek wat baie mooi versier is, 'n mooi tuintjie het, interessante boeke het en waarlik 'n lekker slaap aanbied.

Ons is aangetrek deur die billike prys, maar is verras met 'n elegante gastehuis waarin ons alles en nog meer gevind het vir 'n heerlike, verfrissende oorslaap. Ons gasvrou was vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Beddegoed en handdoeke groot en sag, vars blomme, mooi kuns en 'n interessante dorpie om deur te stap. Ons beveel dit beslis aan.

Lovely charming apartment in the historical part of town, quiet, private and with everything you need.

Buckhouse Apartment is part of a historical home in the old part of the town. A beautifully restored home near the old railway line. A cosy, well decorated apartment with everything you need, and a small patio. A perfect location, everything is in walking distance. I would recommend a minimum of a two night stay.

Die geriewe is uitstekend. Dit is netjies, skoon en baie ruim. Die huis is in 'n mooi deel van die dorp en ons het altyd veilig gevoel.

Very neat and quiet accommodation.

A fully equipped house in one spacious room leading into a second bedroom downstairs. Extremely neat and elegant. Feeling of a country lodge but centre of a quiet town. Highly recommended.
