Bush Villas on Kruger is situated 2 km from the Phalaborwa Kruger National Park Gate and offers accommodation in beautiful, thatched villas. Guests will enjoy the spacious and uniquely styled villas with African décor, attractively centred around 3 dams in bush gardens with large fever trees and other Lowveld species such as Mopani and Marula trees.
Guests have the option between a standard or luxury house, each accommodating 6 to 10 guests at a time. The house comprises 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a private terrace, a guest bathroom, a full kitchen with a breakfast bar separating it from the comfortable lounge that has ample seating, and a TV with selected DStv channels. The cottage doors lead to a large wooden deck with comfortable deck chairs. Upstairs is the large loft that accommodates between 2 and 6 people.
Old and young will appreciate all comforts including mosquito nets, complimentary Wi-Fi and air-conditioning.
The lodge has a sparkling swimming pool with pool-side loungers which is the perfect spot to beat the Limpopo heat. Walk around the gardens and dam and spot many colourful birds hiding in the reeds or the large fever trees.
Enjoy cooking up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen. A well-stocked supermarket is within easy reach of the accommodation. Phalaborwa also boasts many lovely restaurants for those who don't feel like cooking. Guests are welcome to ask the hosts for recommendations.
With the Kruger National Park around the corner, guests can fill their days with game drives, river cruises, walking or mountain-biking safaris or venture into Hoedspruit, the Blyde River Canyon or the mountains around Tzaneen and Magoebaskloof for some world-class hiking. Guided trips into the Kruger National Park can be arranged to all of the highlights in the area and even to local community school projects that Bush Villas on Kruger is passionate about.
