Bushriver Lodge is located on the banks of the Olifants River, close to the Kruger National Park and a mere 25 km from Hoedspruit. The lodge is uniquely situated amongst the lush naturally endemic riverine vegetation and trees on the banks of the perennial Olifants River
Bushriver Lodge offers guests self-catering accommodation in luxury, air-conditioned units or chalets with fully equipped kitchens and private braai areas.
The main lodge central complex has a very large wooden viewing deck that partially extends over the famous Olifants River which is home to a veritable multitude of hippos, crocodiles, fish, and water birds.
The reserve offers a multitude of potential activities for guests including but not limited to, birding, self-driven game drives to view amongst others nyala, zebra, giraffe, impala and the many other game species that proliferate the reserve. For the fitness conscious, there are also several walking, running and trail running routes and a mountain biking route is also available.
The chalets and the main lodge have both reliable Wi-Fi connections and working areas which makes Bushriver Lodge the ideal venue for remote work. Guests can enjoy a sundowner on the deck overlooking the river.
Being centrally situated, Bushriver Lodge is the ideal venue from which to explore the nearby Kruger National Park, the Panorama Route, and the surrounding Lowveld.
