Magical. Exceptional, magic. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable - nothing was too big or too small for them. The thought of bringing breakfast to the house instead of us having to go to the restaurant when it was raining just speaks volumes of how considerate they are. We had guests for dinner one evening at the restaurant - again, their hospitality, quality, presentation and tasty food (the different flavours shone through) and service were exceptional - our guests cannot stop on how much they enjoyed the evening. Not to take away from the setting, the house itself and also the restaurant - quiet and peaceful so much so that we did not want to leave. We will recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to spoil themselves and their companions.

A must see. Excellent accommodation. Hosts were extremely friendly and gracious. The details of this castle were extremely impressive. Highlight of my holiday.

Koninklike bederf. Dit was 'n absolute belewenis! Jannie en Martiana se gasvryheid ken geen perke nie! Die verblyf is werklik asemrowend en die dekor is keurig oorweldigend perfek. Ons kon nie ophou staar na al die kuns en ander dekorasies nie. Ons het van vertrek tot vertrek gegaan en lank gesit en kyk om alles te waardeer. Jannie se gesprekke blyk van jare se ondervinding en kundigheid in verskeie velde, met 'n diepe begrip van die Bybel. Martiana maak die lekkerste kos denkbaar, maar haar kerrie bly die wenner! Uit ons harte dankie! Ons het werklik koninklik gevoel!

Lekker gekuier by diè Koning en Koningin in hul kasteel! Gaan kuier by diè Koning en Koningin in hul kasteel en word ook so ontvang as koninglike gaste. Dis 'n moet sien. Jy kan nie ophou rondkyk nie. Ook die uitsig na die berge is prentjiemooi.

Dankie vir julle positiewe verwysing. Dit is egter jammer as daar ontevredenheid is omdat julle verwagting blykbaar hoër was as wat ons julle gebied het. Van ons kant is daar weer by verre 'n oorweldigende terugvoer van gaste (veral die meerderheid wat van die buiteland is) wat voel ons vra te min vir wat hulle ervaar en ontvang het, selfs vergeleke met baie luukse instansies wêreldwyd waar hulle gereeld aandoen. Maar ons moet bly verbeter en sal ernstig hersien waar nodig. As julle ons dus op spesifieke aspekte kan uitwys, sal ons dit graag wil verbeter sodat die persepsie van waarde en julle tevredenheid daarmee meer aan ons gaste kan bied. Nogmaals baie dankie vir die ondersteunende terugvoer. Ons wens julle alle voorspoed en goeie gesondheid toe.

Words alone cannot explain the experience that we had during our visit. Thank you, Martiana and Jannie, for sharing your piece of paradise with us. My husband, King Tony, truly lived up to his nickname as we felt like royalty. The guest house is filled with fascinating pieces that they have collected over the years. I'm an early bird, and when I opened our balcony door, I was greeted by a colorful array of birds having breakfast by the pond stairs. The ducks gracefully dived into the water, swimming along without a care in the world. And let's not forget the adorable ducklings that made their appearance when they thought we weren't looking. The sunrise over the mountains in the morning is breathtaking, and when the light hits the stained glass by the front door, the formal lounge lights up in a beautiful red glow. The weather over the weekend was a bit moody, but in my opinion, it was perfect as it enhanced the feeling of being somewhere in Europe. You would never think that this incredible experience is just around the corner. We had dinner every night at Martiana and Jannie's home. On arrival, our table was set up in front of the fireplace, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Martiana is a talented cook, and the portions were generous and full of flavor. Tony, with his sweet tooth, thoroughly enjoyed the desserts. We had breakfast every morning, and let's just say that you won't need lunch afterwards. Jannie told us about the river on the property where we could use their kayak. Sadly, we ran out of time, but we did have the opportunity to walk down to the river and experience the tranquility that he mentioned. Thank you once again for everything!
