Canyon Cottage offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a tastefully furnished holiday home, situated in the exclusive and secure Walkersons Private Estate, 10 km east of Dullstroom. This characterful self-catering holiday home is one of the original 'fisherman's cottages' built on the estate, and is hidden in the upper reaches of a beautiful gorge and set amid tall trees directly on the river.
The cottage comprises 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and accommodates up to 10 guests. There are 3 bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each. Both bath and shower facilities are available in 2 bathrooms while the other 2 are fitted with showers only. The adjoining living area is comfortable and inviting, featuring an open-plan dining room, lounge and kitchen leading onto a patio with a free-standing braai and side deck, overhanging the water. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave, as well as a dishwasher and a tumble dryer for convenience.
Light the fireplaces for a cosy and warm atmosphere on those cold and misty evenings, and enjoy quality time with family and friends in this peaceful and secluded cottage.
Guests are invited to escape the hustle and bustle of life to find peace and tranquillity in the mountains and valleys of the beautiful Mpumalanga countryside, with the rolling country hills of the Highlands escarpment and fresh mountain air.
