Lovely. The view is amazing. The location is perfect, close to town and Cape Point. The amenities had everything we needed. Would like to go back again and again.

Van die beste plekke wat ons in gebly het. Jy sal nie spyt wees nie. Sjoe, die views hier is baie indrukwekkend. Heerlike pragtige villa met alles wat jy nodig het. Alle vertrekke het mooi uitsigte en groot stoepe voor wat uitkyk oor Valsbaai. Dit het baie trappe, maar is met ons bagasie mooi gehelp.

Asemrowende 180 grade see-uitsig! Die 180 grade uitsig oor Valsbaai vanuit die hoofslaapkamer is asemrowend en die kuierdek ook so geposisioneer dat mens heerlik kan kuier terwyl jy die see-uitsig en berguitsig geniet. Die kaggel is 'n bonus vir die winteraande. Vinnige terugvoer en hulp vanaf die eienaar soos nodig het ons verblyf baie gerieflik gemaak. Sal dit beslis aanbeveel vir 'n naweekwegbreek in pragtige omgewing.

Thanks Tania Note the booking site says dogs are NOT encouraged. You then called me and I made it clear that the reason is because dogs reside on the property and that you could bring your dog which you insisted was always with you. We agreed to alternate times when our respective dogs would have access to the outside and I further arranged to have the dogs off the premises all day Saturday and to lock them up on all nights - except for one dog (who is pet friendly) as a security precaution. There was no need to keep the doors closed except when my dogs were let out which was only early morning and late evening. The precaution for closed doors was mainly in the event of baboons being on the premises and then only when indicated to you by WhatsApp. This was not necessary this weekend. Thank you for the heads up regarding the shower. We are aware of this and you may have noticed a structure under construction behind the Villa - that is a bathhouse with a shower, basin and bath. It is not yet in operation because of the recent storms impacting on our infrastructure (we are 100% off-grid). Be that as it may, I do apologise for the inconvenience over the weekend. In addition to getting the bathhouse house ready asap, I have made the decision to prohibit guests from bringing pets. We have had pets in the past by the way (always with reluctance and hesitation because of the risks which are clearly direct out on our platforms) but this is clearly not an easy fit in our situation so to prevent others from your inconvenience this opportunity will be 100 percent discontinued. Thank you and again my apologies.

Destination is beautiful. Besides the dust, cobwebs, and that I couldn't use hot water whenever I wanted to, I enjoyed my stay.

Hi Nancy. I’m so sorry about the hot water. We operate on solar water geysers, but we also have gas as a back up. It's clear that this was not properly explained to you. I will take this up with my caretaker. Regarding the dust and spiderwebs, I would really appreciate it if you could tell me where you encountered the problems. While 90 percent of our clients give us 5 stars, we sometimes struggle with these two issues. In part, this is because we live on a mountain surrounded by fynbos and, especially after the recent fires, it's difficult to manage the dust when the south-easter blows. This is not an excuse. We need to know how to address this. A more detailed description will help us in this regard. Thank you, Joel
