Lekker by see, maar ongemaklik agv bovermelde. Geen ketel/koffie in kamers. Roomservice se koffie is duur! Nie rolstoelvriendelik nie. Trappe! Geen voorsiening vir rokers behalwe af met trappe na buite!

Chartfield Guesthouse

Hi Chrissie, thank you so much for staying with us. You are 100% right. Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair friendly, and we do not advertise that we are. Kalk Bay is an area that has many steep hills, and you will find that there are stairs all over the area. The Guesthouse is one of these houses that have stairs all over as well as inside, and as it is a heritage site, we are unable to make any changes to it. We are also a smoke-free zone; however, we have a designated smoker's area which is located outside on the patio. By law, you are not allowed to smoke indoors anymore. We also offer a complimentary coffee/tea service every morning that you do not have to pay for. This is served from 7:15 am - 9:00 am daily and brought up to your room to make up for us not having tea or coffee making facilities in the room. You can opt for this service whether you have including or excluding breakfast. It is available to all guests staying at the Guesthouse at no additional charge during the allocated time period. We wish you a lovely day further and we appreciate your review.

The setting is beautiful and close to the main road and beautiful Kalk Bay shops. The setting is beautiful and close to the main road and beautiful Kalk Bay shops. I would recommend better quality towels in bath sheet size and to have tea and coffee available in the rooms. I need my wake up tea .
