The estate is full of surprises if you want to explore, and at the same time quiet and peaceful. When my 10-year-old son says he doesn't want to leave a place, then you know it was worth it. Excellent service, pristine location and extremely comfortable accommodation. Our stay was excellent. We are actually building a house on Elephant Rock Eco Estate and we are so happy to find Chestnut Cottage as a perfect option for us to use as it is also on Elephant Rock Eco Estate. It was extremely easy to check in and get the keys at the entrance gate to the estate, and Meka had already turned on the air conditioners and fans to cool the house down before we arrived as it was over 40°C! The house was spotless, the pool was great, and the location perfect for what we needed. Visiting the actual Elephant Rock on the Olifants river is a must, as is the confluence area to walk around. We saw lots of animals including impala, kudu, waterbuck, bushbuck, and even a grysbok. We would 100% recommend it to anyone interested in staying in the area.

It's overall just a great break away cottage, we will definitely visit again. It's just a great little modern cottage, just what we wanted. Perfect for two couples or a couple with kids. Loved the furniture and facilities, the beds are great, the shower and bath are amazing. It was great that we could watch the rugby without needing to go to a restaurant. The road is a bit noisy but we still managed to hear some lions early morning.

Awesome! Amazing place, awesome cottage almost brand new with real quality finishes and high-end fittings. Almost perfect in every way. The only negative is the traffic noise from the Phalaborwa Hoedspruit road. Otherwise, this is the best accommodation and nearly the best destination we've been privileged to get from you.
