Ons het heerlik hier gebly. Baie vriendelike eienaars en werkers. Die kamers is pragtig met geweldig baie aandag aan detail. Die ontbyt was ongelooflik lekker!

A very pleasant establishment. Service and breakfast were of the highest standard. The owner is hands on which accounts for the high standards. The facilities are good and cleanliness great. Our room, no. 3, was very small and the bathroom was very cramped. The DStv offering is very limited and they could certainly offer a wider choice package.

Great Getaway when visiting Franschhoek and the surrounding wineries in the area.

Location in a quiet leafy part of the town, but still within walking distance to monuments and the historical town centre. Accommodation clean, very well-stocked bathroom and very comfortable room (with a welcoming note and a chocolate treat). The attention to detail was excellent! Facilities excellent, value-for-money breakfast that also caters for vegetarians, secured on site parking and a beautiful garden. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Ons is baie bly oor ons keuse, en sou graag weer daar wil bly.

Enkele aanbevelings om nog beter aan behoeftes te voldoen: Lugreëling, of ander beddegoed - die duvet, sonder lakens en komberse, maak slaap tydens hoe temperature baie moeilik agv die waaier wat heelnag moet werk en reg op mens blaas. Die badkamer venster is nie privaat nie. Gewone glas word gebruik en die gordyne verskaf nie privaatheid nie. Ons het handdoeke voor die gleuf gehang en opgerol op die vensterbank geplaas. Hangkas te smal en te kort vir langer persone se klere. Goed vir een of twee nagte, maar nie vir 'n week nie.

Uitstekende diens ontvang vanaf die gasvrou - baie tuis laat voel. Ontbyt baie lekker.

Ons het héérlik gekuier, geëet en alles was net reg. Gasvrou het haar uitstekend van haar taak gekwyt. Sy mag maar 'n gastehuis bestuur - sy het ons baie tuis laat voel.

Ongelooflik.

Geriewe is uitstekend, Ontbyt is 'n wenner. Parkeerplek is bietjie knap, kan maklik jou kar krap.

Arrival was not very friendly.

The current owners sold their B&B, and the new owners will arrive May 2016. This was maybe one of the reasons our arrival was not that friendly as we know in South Africa. Also unfortunately there was not a frigde in all bedrooms. This with a outside temperature of 35 degrees. The current owner told us we could store our food and drinks in his kitchen fridge. The tiles in our bathroom were very dirty, as you could see this was for a very long time not cleaned properly. The swimming pool also was not cleaned properly. We had to clean it ourselves while the owner was watching this. Around the swimming pool there was some faeces from their own three dogs, as his wife admitted after asking about this. Late night the two owners left the building, maybe to sleep somewhere else, and they will appear late next morning at some time. The breakfast was served very well. They were friendly and did their best. Breakfast was good. After two night we had to leave, and none of the owners were there to say goodbye and to pay our outstandig bill, so we left. We already had payed 50% deposit, and that was enough in our opinion. Every year since 2010 we visit Franschhoek, and other places, with very good experiences, but unfortunately they were all fully booked. We have had never such a bad experience as in this case. Maybe the current owners are already retired. A pity for such a nice place to stay.

Vriendelikste verwelkoming, al was dit laat die aand.

Die kamer was gerieflik en ons kon tot die gebruik van die kaggel benut het, wat die aand net op 'n lekker noot afgesluit het. Ons was bewus van die kaggel en het ons eie hout saamgevat, maar die vrou het aangedring dat ons hulle hout kan gebruik. Sal beslis die plekkie aanbeveel vir hul puik diens!

Perfek vir 'n gesin.

Baie skoon en netjies. Vriendelike ontvangs en ontbyt was heerlik. Kamers is baie gerieflik vir 'n gesin. Ek sal beslis weer daar tuisgaan. Parkering is effens beknop vir groter voertuie.

Great experience

My partner and I loved the fact that it was easy to find and within walking distance to everything. The fact that it was so close to Franschhoek Village and that it was so safe made it that more enjoyable. Thank you Daniel for the great experience

Goeie waarde vir geld. Smaakvol. Knap parkering, maar veilig. Stapafstand van al die interessanthede. Bly gerus daar!

Cosy, comfortable and value for money.

We were there for one night only and really enjoyed the cosy lounge and open fire place. Breakfast was good and all in all good value for money.
