Restful stay. The cottage was in a beautiful location, remote but still within easy driving distance to Montagu. The cottage was simply but comfortably furnished, and the hammock was a lovely treat! Our host was a warm and welcoming person. Our dogs loved exploring and chasing the dassies. We look forward to coming back!

Veranda at its best in an authentic farm cottage. The cottage is wonderfully preserved with paintwork that reminds me of childhood days. The veranda is spacious with great views. The braai place is adequate in a garden setting. The kitchen is well-equipped and the owner is hospitable and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Our second time and it was just perfect. The cottage, the friendliest people. I can only call it a piece of heaven on earth. Doreen and her staff really make your stay so enjoyable. No wifi is the best thing during this relaxing time. Highly recommend.

A breath of fresh air. This was a getaway from the city we were looking for. So peaceful surrounded by nature and very quiet allowing to really spend time with your family without TV and phone interruptions.

Gorgeous surroundings with a cute cottage. Fireplace inside is a lifesaver in winter. The host for this stay is lovely and very helpful in all regards. Be aware when travelling at night to this location as the road is very dark and there are animals without fences. Definitely worth it.

Idillies en sielsvernuwend. My twee hondekinders en ek het vir drie nagte by Dew Cottage gekuier. Die feit dat daar nie selfoonsein is nie is 'n absolute wen as jy 'n breek nodig het van elke dag se verantwoordelikhede en eise. Doreen is die mees gasvrye mens en haar energie laat 'n mens dadelik ontspan en tuis voel. Die kothuis is ten volle toegerus en ons kon vir niks meer vra nie. Die omgewing is stil en die natuurskoon is asemrowend mooi. Dit was my tweede kuier by Dew Cottage en ek beplan om in die nabye toekoms weer daar uit te span.
