Breathtaking view. Was like home from home, had everything we needed.

All household amenities are available, and very comfortable for two to 4 people. Very relaxed stay. Easy to access everywhere.

The Blue House (December 2022 - January 2023). We went to “Die Blou Huisie” for the first time, with our furry kids. Where does one start? What a homely place to spend a holiday. The Huisie accommodated all requirements that one looks for (i.e. blankets, towels, cutlery, washing machine, tumble dryer, etc.). Lovely braai areas, one at the back of the Huisie and one in the front with one amazing view. The back of the Huisie has a lekker kuier area if it rains, and the front has a little stoepie you can sit at and look at the view. The house is very secure for your furry kids, no worries if you have to quickly pop out without your furry kids. There are two beaches within walking distance from the huisie which are both dog-friendly. The one is a swimming beach, with lifeguards etc. There is also a lovely pub and grill (also walking distance) from the Huisie, called the Dolphin Pub & Grill. There is a proper Super Spar, with all your essentials, etc. in Port Edward itself (about 6 kms away) from the Huisie, as well as Mac Banana, which is about 8 kms from the Huisie where you can go do some shopping, get a few gifts, there are restaurants, but what we can definitely recommend is their pancakes (it is actually a must!). We definitely had an amazing and memorable time, and will definitely be back again! We also definitely recommend it to other families, with furry kids. Thank you!
