Die Perdestal is a charming self-catering cottage situated on the R316 on the Mierkraal Farm in Napier. It is ideal for those wanting to break away from the bustling city life and seeking tranquility while experiencing the farm life.
This one-bedroom cottage can accommodate 4 adults but is ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. The bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. The loft area has two single beds. There is also a spacious separate bathroom with a shower. Hot water is supplied by a gas geyser. Clean linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan living area features a comfortable seating area, a dining table, and a fireplace that can also be used as an indoor braai. There is also all the necessary braai equipment, a Dutch oven, and a small oven for pizza and bread. The kitchenette includes a kettle, toaster, and washing facilities. The kitchenette leads to a small kitchen that is equipped with a fridge-freezer, single-burner gas stove, single-burner electric stove, microwave, basic crockery, and a convection air fryer oven. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
The unit opens up to the lovely patio with outdoor seating space overlooking the luscious garden and is the ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Guests can walk the dirt road with the silence in their mind, and have a picnic by the river.
The cottage's garden is surrounded by field-span wire, so it is safe to bring dogs. There is a large gate to ensure secure parking for vehicles. Activities include swimming and kayaking. Enjoy the farm activities and experience farm life alongside it, mostly during the week, but especially the excitement during planting and harvest time.
