Was uitstekend en bo verwagting mooi en lekker. Geriewe was meer as voldoende en gemaklik. Johnson, die helper, was uitstekend. Beveel Eden Safari Country House aan met 'n ope hart en skoon gewete.

Wonderlike bosveldgevoel en ontspanne na 'n dag se werk. Baie stylvol en gerieflik.

Baie netjies huis met alles wat jy kan benodig. Huis is baie ruim, netjies en goed ingerig. Rossouw en Johnson gaan uit hulle pad uit om seker te maak alles verloop goed.

'n Lekker rustige tyd in die bosveld. Ons het ons kuiertjie baie geniet. Die kliëntediens was uitstekend. Ek sal Eden Safari Country House vir enigeen aanbeveel.

Ongelooflike wegbreek. Die huis is pragtig en ruim, Die kombuis goed toegerus. Johnson is baie behulpsaam. Die watertoevoer na die hoofslaapkamer se badkamer is egter baie baie stadig. Net 'n paar dingetjies waarna daar opgelet kan word, behalwe die watertoevoer na badkamer in hoofslaapkamer, is die dakwaaier in hoofslaapkamer wat nie werk nie, die lugverkoeling werk wel, maar kan nie aangesit word wanneer van die ander gaste onder kuier nie, die stroombreker is te klein om dit te hanteer. Maar behalwe vir die paar klein goedjies, het ons heerlik gebly en sal vir seker weer daar tuisgaan.

Excellent value for money. Enjoyed our stay. Great accommodation and Johnson went out of his way to ensure that we were happy.

We booked the house to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Its a lovely house, lots of space. Jonhston was awesome. Value for money and spacious, we loved the animals that came by.

3-night stay at Eden Safari House. This home is very stately and quite grand. Bedrooms are beautifully decorated, and home contains some amazing African sculptures and huge carved wardrobes (needed a ladder to get to the hanging section!) Sadly, this once grande dame needs much maintenance. Most taps, plugs and showerheads need replacing. Prep bowl tap barely reaches the sink, with a trickle of water. Upstairs shower gets water pumped from a JoJo, but not very effective. Tiles throughout the entire house extremely slippery, as well as the shower floors and pool surrounds. Be careful with your kids running around. Kitchen placement extremely frustrating, as no direct access to the dining room. One has to double back out the kitchen, back down a passage to get to the dining area. Kitchen cupboards need a revamp - very sticky drawers. Light fittings in lounge broken. Not enough power points in the rooms. Had to hunt to find the only one on the far wall. And for an alleged 5-star rated establishment, please do not provide one-ply toilet paper! The "butler" Johnson, as diligent and hardworking as he is, was very dour, although very helpful when I addressed some issues with the owner. Didn't offer to help get our heavy bags upstairs. Kept house very clean though, although lots of mildew in showers. He was right there when you didn't need him (came to clean pool while I was having a cuppa on the patio in my pyjamas), but not there when you did need him. Went to visit neighbours apparently. Maybe needs some hospitality training. If you are one of those that enjoy the peace and quiet while hubby and son are in the park - forget it. Being right by the main road, busload after busload of (very loud) workers arrive in front of the house. Traffic noise from main road also an issue. Wifi does not reach the main bedroom at all. Have suggested a wifi extender. With these in mind, I am sure this establishment can be brought back to the stature it might have been in the past, but 5-star - it's a no from us.
