Description
Elandsvlei Estate Chalet is a beautiful, secluded, 2-bedroom chalet overlooking a peaceful dam surrounded by wildlife. There is a Lapa next to the chalet with a firepit, as well as a picnic deck with breath-taking views overlooking the water-lily covered dam. You even have a private little beach on the dam.
The main bedroom has 2 single beds, which can be combined to form a king-size bed on request. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. We can add an extra bed for parties of 5. The first bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin and the second bathroom has a bath, toilet and basin.
The kitchen is equipped with a 3-plate stove and mini-oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery.
The chalet is located on a 3000-hectare private game farm between Mookgophong and Vaalwater with giraffes, buffalo, eland, kudu, gemsbok, zebra, wildebeest, and many other species.
Guests will have access to the entire chalet, lapa, and picnic area. Firewood is provided for guests.
The whole farm is available for hiking, running, and mountain biking. There are approximately 100km of roads and trails of varying degrees of difficulty to explore!
Elandsvlei Estate's dams are great for fishing, and guests are welcome to try their luck fishing for various species including tilapia, bream, and catfish.
