Amazing stay. It was the best ever. Enjoyed the house.

Great stay, we enjoyed it a lot. Broken sliding doors. The gate wasn't working, no toilet paper. No towels. Outside floor is very slippery.

The stay was amazing. There is no way of knowing wheter ther alarm activated or deactivated, which caused us tripping the alarm daily. I would suggest that clothes pegs and plastic bowls and cups be provided for people staying with kids. The batteries for the fan remote was not working and one of the rooms should perhaps have a fan installed. Overall the stay wad great.

Ruim huis met mooi see-uitsig. Skoon, netjiese en veilige huis. Gemaklik huis met 'n baie mooi see-uitsig. Pragtige, blou swembad. Al wat kort is skottelgoedwasser, tuimeldroër en dak oor braaier. Ons sal met liefde weer bespreek.

Fun and relaxing. Will definitely visit again.

Not worth the cost unless you fill every room. Firstly the front door security gate does not close well unless you press down the front doorknob, sometimes you think it's latched closed but it hasn't. Secondly, while they don't advertise having WiFi as a facility on this site, they also do not outright that it isn't available. With how much you pay per night and with how WiFi has become part of our everyday life - it is surprising to find a place in town with it not available. They do have a DStv decoder available if you bring your own card - unfortunately, it does not help those of us that have Netflix even though the TV does seem to be able to connect to the internet. When we walked in the house smelled stale so it can be seen that no one has been there for a while. They also do not have any spare blankets, so if the weather goes bad as it did with our visit - I hope you brought extra ones on your trip. We also thought that from the photos we would be right on the beach, which is why R2000 per night did not seem too bad if you could just open the garden gate and walk on the beach. The advertisement just says it's in close proximity to the beach, so a little misleading. The house is about 2 km from a small beach that mostly has fisherman.

We had a wonderful stay though security can be upgraded. My family and I had a wonderful time at the house. It was exactly what we were looking for. I do have concerns though on the security: while the house had an alarm system, we could not arm the house. I called the security company and they were also not able to assist with arming the house while we were inside. Only the beams were armed, but the security keypad was not indicating that it was armed. I had to then call the security company each time to enquire if the beams were armed while we were inside. Every night the beams were being triggered and the security company did respond, but it was little comfort to assure us that we would be safe. On Wednesday at around 7 three men were looking into the property and I called the security company. Three rooms have sliding doors that open onto the patio and there is a sun room that opens out onto the patio and garden. These doors should have gates for added security as they can be easily removed within minutes. The possible threat of a break in after noticing the three men meant that we had a somewhat sleepless night. None of the rooms had keys on the doors, and this needs to be looked at ,for a sense of privacy, especially in the bathroom and toilet. None of the outside lights worked. Not sure if the bulbs were burnt, but this meant that the outside area was in darkness. The stay was enjoyable however if the above is not dealt with, then it does possibly dissuade families to re-book the house.
