Skoon en netjies. Ruim. Baie aangename mense en vriendelik. Het laat aangekom by gastehuis en was daar om vir my oop te maak. Dit het baie vir my beteken dat hul bereid was om vir my oop te kom maak na ure.

Adequate. Positives from my stay: The place is clean and the rooms are very neat, clean and spacious. Christine was a very welcoming and accommodating host. Negatives from my stay: Water pressure is extremely low when the lodge is full, thus causing water to trickle out when trying to shower and it is cold. The alarm that constantly went off during the early hours of the morning. Could not switch the aircon on due to the remote batteries being flat. Renovations are currently underway. All in all, the place is value for money; however, they can pay more attention to the smaller finer things like checking that the remotes work (batteries replaced), and that complimentary coffee and sugar sachets are replenished for people staying longer than 2 days.

The South Coast does experience water challenges, which is why we have backup water storage and a pressure pump in place. Unfortunately, the low water pressure was not reported to us, so the pump was not activated. It's important to note that low water pressure can also affect the water temperature. Had he informed us, we would have addressed it right away, as Christine resides on the premises, and he had my phone number. In fact, we were in contact regarding the TV, which was promptly resolved. Regarding the alarm, it was triggered one night by another guest, but it was immediately deactivated and did not continue sounding throughout the night. Additionally, no renovations are currently taking place. As for the batteries in his air-conditioning remote, we would have gladly replaced them had we been informed. The tea and coffee are provided as a complimentary welcome gift for travellers upon arrival. As this is a self-catering property, guests are expected to supply their own groceries. For convenience, there are notifications inside the unit indicating nearby grocery stores and their distances from the property.

The place is just wonderful. The staff is polite. The place is very clean and just beautiful!
